Hobbes and Calvin learn so quickly. If they discover that they can jump to a certain spot — the window sill, tub ridge, dresser, Mr. S’s chair — then they do it nearly every chance they can get.
Miss M taught the kittens that not only can they go in but they can also climb on top of their kitten house. This led to a lot of playing with the house when the boys tried to hide in and on top of the house from each other.
Where you? Calvin. This’s not funny. Come out now. I’m telling on you.
Poor Hobbes. He’s often content sleeping or playing alone. But Calvin likes to bother his brother. He’ll go wherever Hobbes is, wrestle him until he reluctantly leaves. He’s the pesky little brother that wants Hobbes spot just so he can steal it from his brother.
Calvin: Hey bro, whatcha doing?
Hobbes: Plz leave me alones.
Calvin: Ah, come on, I wants to play.
Hobbes: I said no.
Calvin: Let’s PLAAAAAAY.
